WORKSHOPS:
Natalie Bauman speaks to local community groups about "Do-It-Yourself" Family Documentaries and "Preserving Family History," including Solon Senior Center, Red Hats of Northeastern Ohio and senior living communities like The Waterford at Richmond Heights, Ohio. In our recent workshop for The Gathering Place in Beachwood, Ohio, we worked with cancer patients to help them tell their stories on video to share with their families.
From talks about how to do your own oral or video history to working personally with your family to create a full family history experience, we enjoy working with small and large groups so no stories are lost to time.
Presentations are customized for your groups' interests - from organizing and preserving your photos and memorabilia, to basic genealogy and family research. We guide you through the process of interviewing your own family members on audiotape, or in a video format. More detailed workshops on creating your own video documentary are available as well, including a longer series where we actually create projects as part of the workshop.
Everyone has a meaningful story to tell...our workshops help you figure out what to do with those great memories.
