This Sunrise Sunset Documentary was a light-hearted and slightly sentimental video presentation at the client's daughter's Bat Mitzvah. Interviews with both parents, the Bat Mitzvah girl and her older sister, along with lots of footage we shot at their home were the backbone of this special "not-just-a-photo-montage" party video.
This family asked Sunrise Sunset to capture their son's bar mitzvah service at Park Synagogue in Beachwood, Ohio, then edit highlights with special family photos and music. The video was played at the party, to share the service with all the guest, and relive the memorable event. The video had a three-day turnaround time from shoot to event!

Not everyone wants an entire video documentary, but still values getting their loved ones' stories on DVD. When health or age means that time is short, we're sensitive to the desire to preserve and celebrate stories in a simple manner.
So we offer the opportunity to sit down with our professional interviewer and a camera. Graphics can be added in as the subject changes, or it can be put directly as recorded onto a DVD.
LIFE STORY DOCUMENTARY
While event videos typically run under ten minutes, a personal documentary can run as long as an hour, if you have the stories and more elaborate history to share.
This video is an excerpt from a 20 minute family documentary we created, interviewing both the husband and wife, and shooting footage of them with their daughter, and in their home. Using local archival images from their history and their favorite music, they relived some special moments from their past, and now share those with their children, grandchildren and extended family.
